Italian Meatball Recipe

INGREDIENTS

ground beef/pork white bread panko spices parmesan garlic onions cans of tomatoes & paste red wine

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

In a large bowl, combine both ground meats and add eggs. Mix in breadcrumbs and spices.

Adding warm water to the meatball mix creates a moist meatball with an unbelievably light texture!

After adding the water and gently mixing by hand (the best way to mix meatballs!), scoop out the mix on to a baking sheet

Bake at 400˚ for 10 minutes or so until browned on the bottom.

Meanwhile make the sauce by sauteeing some onion in a large skillet

Add red wine and cook until absorbed by the onion.

Pour in the tomatoes and seasonings along with the baked meatballs and simmer for about an hour or so when the meatballs are tender.

Serve with your favorite pasta! Makes a mean meatball sandwich!
