water sugar yeast flour  olive oil kosher salt flaky sea salt some patience and your fav toppings!

INGREDIENTS

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

In a bowl or measuring cup, add the warm water and sprinkle over the yeast. Stir lightly. Add the sugar and let side until bubbly for about five minutes.

Pour into a large bowl and layer on the flour, olive oil and salt. Stir into a shaggy dough

Pour the dough out onto a floured board. Knead for about 4-5 minutes until it comes together.  SOOOO SATISFYING!

Transfer dough to an oil lined bowl flipping over to coat the whole thing. Cover with a clean floured towel.

While the dough rises for 2-3 hours, go watch a holiday movie or read a book! You've earned this break, my friend!

After the dough has risen, you're going to pour A LOT of olive oil into a sheet pan...

And pour the risen dough into the pan pushing it out to the edges. Then act like you're typing to make those focaccia dimples!

Get some warm water

THE SECRET

Add some salt

And pour the  whole thing over top of the bread!

After the second rise, add any toppings you like (tomatoes, olives, rosemary, cheese) and bake! Or leave it plain!
